I’m still trying to process the fact that I actually attended the last night of the rep tour in the US. I am so grateful that I got to experience the reputation tour twice! I saw Taylor in Pasadena but I was extremely stressed at the time so it made it hard to enjoy the concert. So when I thought about going to Arlington, didn’t think I could afford it and then checked again in a couple months and took a leap of faith to fly from California to Texas. Along the way I stumbled across Liz ( @betterthaneverbrandnew ) and asked her to join me. This is honestly the craziest thing I’ve ever done but I don’t regret a second of it. I couldn’t see much of Taylor during the show due to the height of the stage but Charlie hyped us up, Camilas dancers danced with us, Taylor’s dancers and vocalists made direct eye contact with us and Paul saw me signing Shake it Off and would not stop smiling at me through out the show (which was the highlight honestly). I didn’t realize it at the time but Taylor even looked at me a bunch of times and I didn’t even notice it because I was having so much fun dancing and flailing. I had teared up a couple times during the show but when we were all singing the last song and saying goodbye to everyone on Taylor’s team and when the “And in the death of her reputation she felt truly alive” showed a few tears rolled. I tried to keep my phone away and just dance and have a good time because I didn’t want to waste my time and money. I definitely have amazing memories of the night to hold on to. Thank you to everyone on this tour, Taylor, the band, dancers, security, ticket sellers, venues, merch people, Taylor nation, and to everyone and anyone that showed an ounce of kindness to me when I was in Texas. I can’t wait for the next chapter, but I’m still appreciating this one 💓
I’m at my gate to go home (gate 13 😎) and I just remembered that Paul stared me down last night when I started signing Shake it Off in ASL and I’m not ready for this tour and especially this stop to be just memories soon.
